Are your materials compliant with Reach/RoHS?

The materials we use comply with European environmental standards. We continually check that our materials continue to meet the latest standards.

Which materials are suitable for use with food and medical technology?

Liquid silicone is very suitable for applications with high purity requirements in food and medical technology. It is both biocompatible and approved by BfR and FDA.

Which materials are suitable for use in drinking water/wastewater?

Depending on the intended use, both liquid silicone and EPDM are suitable. Our EPDM mixtures also meet the high requirements for drinking water according to EN681-1 and W270.

Which elastomers are biocompatible and sterilizable?

For applications in medical technology liquid silicones are used that can be sterilized multiple times and are biocompatible.

What colors are possible for silicone?

Liquid silicone is transparent in its raw form. It can be colored any way you want. You give us the color (RAL, Pantone, sample) – we develop the right pigments with our partners!

Is silicone sustainable?

Yes, Silicone rubber is a sustainable material because it

... unlike plastics, it is not made from petroleum, but from silicon (sand).
... has very good physical properties as well as good media and temperature resistance. This means that silicone products can be reused several times and can also be washed and sterilized.
...due to its UV and ozone resistance, it shows very little aging and is very durable.
... does not emit any volatile substances and is therefore very compatible with its environment, such as in food or medical technology applications.

Do you have your own mold making department?

We have been working with mold makers from German-speaking countries for many years. We specify our tool standard and the basic structure of the mold. We only carry out minor repairs and maintenance in-house as well as optimizing the molds.

How does a rubber item/silicone item have to be constructed?

Basically similar to a plastic part, but there is more freedom with regard to wall thicknesses and the demoulding of undercuts. We would be happy to give you concrete construction tips for your ideas made of silicone, rubber and TPE!

Do you develop and construct silicone products?

When it comes to design and development, we work with engineering offices that have already built up expertise in this area. We will be happy to provide you with the right contact!

Do you manufacture in a clean room?

Clean room production is always associated with very high costs. We therefore always check in consultation with our customers whether cleanroom production is absolutely necessary or whether the desired purity cannot also be achieved through subsequent cleaning and sterilization.
